Dock Builder – Join a Top-Tier Marine Construction Team!

About the Opportunity

Do you love working outdoors, building with your hands, and being around the water? Bay Harbor Marine Services — a family-owned, proudly local marine construction company based in beautiful Tampa, Florida — is looking for a skilled and driven Dock Builder to join our growing crew!

As a Dock Builder, you’ll be part of a passionate team that builds and maintains high-quality docks, piers, seawalls, and other waterfront structures. Whether it’s sunrise over the bay or the satisfaction of a job well done, every day brings something new.

What You’ll Do

Build, repair, and maintain docks, piers, and other waterfront structures using wood, steel, concrete, and composite materials

Install pilings, framing, and decking with precision and pride

Operate hand and power tools safely (saws, drills, pile drivers, etc.)

Load and transport materials and equipment to job sites across the Tampa Bay area

Work closely with a supportive team, following all safety and environmental guidelines

Keep quality craftsmanship and attention to detail at the heart of everything you do

What We’re Looking For

Experience in marine construction, carpentry, or general construction ()

Physically fit and able to lift, bend, kneel, and climb as needed

Comfortable working on or around water (bonus points if you’re a strong swimmer!)

Positive attitude, team spirit, and strong communication skills

Willingness to work outside in the Florida elements (sunshine, rain, heat—you name it!)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
