Patient acuity is slightly different (less acute) in the Clifton Springs ICU. RNs need to have critical care / ICU experience, ACLS certified, day / night rotation, every other weekend rotation.No locals (75 miles)NY license in hand Modified Time : 10 / 20 / 2025 12 : 00 : 00 AM Account Manager : Jillian Makowski Account Manager Email : COVID-19 Vaccine : Not Required Flu Vaccine : Unknown Submittals : Low Job Requirements & Qualifications Previous Charge Experience : Required Years of Experience : 2 Patient Ratio Experience : 3 Charting System Experience : Required Charting System Name : Epic Community Hospital Experience : Preferred LTAC Experience : - Trauma Level I Experience : - Trauma Level II Experience : - Travel Experience Required : - Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSSSkills : Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care / management, Chronic / Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV paralytics / Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, CVA / Acute Stroke management , Emergency Medications, GI surgery, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) , Infection Prevention, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) , Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions / Use of PPE, IV insulin protocols, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Obtain 12 lead EKG / ECG, PICC line management, Procedural Sedation Administration, Pulmonary edema , Pulmonary embolism , Respiratory failure, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Thermoregulation : hypothermia / hyperthermia, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Ventilator Management Unit Details Staffing & Scheduling Scheduling Type : - Patient Ratios Days : 3 Patient Ratios Nights : 3 Patient Ratios Weekends : 3 Float Required : - Call Required : - Weekend Coverage : True Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract : - Pre-Approved Time Off : - Orientation Hours : 36 Facility & Patient Care Details Patient Age Groups : Adults, Geriatrics Daily Census : 6 Number of Visits Per Day : - Number of Rooms : - Number of Beds : - Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support : Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses : Our ICU cares for a variety of critically ill patients, including those requiring vasopressors, insulin drips, BIPAP support, and long-term mechanical ventilation. We also manage post-operative patients, including post-operative vascular patients. While the more complex cases may be transferred to higher-acuity centers, our unit provides intensive care to a broad mix of medical and surgical patients. Special Procedures / Unit Details : 6-bed unit with central telemetry monitoring. Staff are trained to manage ventilators, arterial lines, and titrate medicated drips. The unit provides care for patients requiring higher levels of monitoring and clinical intervention. Special Equipment : VentilatorsWound vacsArterial linesCentral lines #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO - approved # of jobs in system we can sub multiple allowed Required experience 1 year State License NY license is required in hand to submit Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted Candidates will float - yes Charting Experience EPIC experience is a hard requirement Background policy - reviewed on case-by-case basis Return staff policy 1 year Modules - able to bill for up to 5 hours spent on modules Alert the account manager at time of submittal if traveler has any foreign education that will need to be verified Modules : Modules are billable, up to 5 hours.
