Lifeguard Instructor
Midwest Pool Management – Kansas City is hiring swimming lesson instructors for the 2026 summer season. MPM-KC manages swimming pools all over the Kansas City metro area, offering tons of fun for the citizens of the KC area, clients we serve, and the employees we take care of. Lifeguard Instructors teach lifeguard candidates in preparation for a Starguard Elite lifeguard certification. Assists the Director of Training with all duties necessary to provide a safe and effective lifeguard course and aquatic facility. Certification and training for becoming an instructor will be provided. Previous lifeguard experience is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Instructor class attendance is mandatory. Lifeguard classes will begin in December and continue throughout the year. Please see job postings for additional open positions within our organization.
*A minimum of 2 years of certified lifeguard experience or equivalent work experience preferred. Must be 18 years old to hold an LGI certification. *
