A company is looking for a Credit Processor I to manage credit transactions and ensure accurate processing within the EPIC system.
Key Responsibilities
Process undistributed and credit transactions through assigned work queues according to established workflows
Maintain department's accuracy rates and productivity metrics while ensuring timely resolution of insurance refund requests
Review and verify information related to returned refunds and collaborate with other departments for resolution
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma and one year of revenue cycle work experience required
Prior experience in account analysis, credit resolution, billing, and / or insurance follow-up preferred
Working knowledge of insurance payor remittances and the EPIC system is helpful
Dependable, team-focused, goal-oriented individuals with a strong work ethic are desired
Must be able to work independently under the direction of the Department Supervisor and Manager
