The Project Editor supports the publishing activities of the Journals program of the University of Nebraska Press, producing high-quality electronic and print journals. Key responsibilities include project management, which involves simultaneously managing schedules, budgets, editorial, design and production, printing, and hiring and directing freelance copyeditors for multiple projects; heavy and continuous communication with editors, freelancers, authors, staff, and vendors to ensure successful production of print and electronic publications; and supervising in-house editorial and production staff.
