Job Title : Machine Operator

Job Description

A manufacturer in the Eastern Indianapolis region is searching for multiple machine operators to work on 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves operating various industrial machines, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate up to four industrial machines simultaneously.
• Use basic hand and power tools to change tooling.
• Utilize quality instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Perform repetitive manual lifting and pushing of materials throughout the department.
• Ensure proper documentation of materials and batch numbers according to guidelines.
• Withstand heat and remain on feet for 8 to 12 hours at a time.

Work Environment

This position is located in a 1 million square foot facility that is clean but can be hot depending on the department. You will start with training on the 1st shift for approximately 15 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM. Post-training, you will transition to either the 2nd shift (2 : 30 PM to 11 : 00 PM) with a $1 / hr shift premium, or the 3rd shift (10 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM) with a $2 / hr shift premium. Be prepared for potential overtime, including extended hours at the end of shifts and occasional Saturdays with advance notice.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00 / yr.
