Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and a KY license for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department
  • Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM
  • Equipment utilized includes GE, Philips, and Siemens
  • Travelers may float to other units as needed
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Must be able to provide copies of driver's license and social security card upon request
  • Completion of orientation modules is required, averaging 2 hours
  • Return staff must wait 2 years before being eligible to travel again
  • Annual and specialty-specific modules must be completed and are tracked via transcripts
  • The facility has a strict do not call policy for candidates

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • BLS certification required
  • Current Kentucky license or compact license required—license required if applicable
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Ability to work with hospital-based equipment from GE, Philips, and Siemens
  • Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for traveler pay
