Seeking a Qualified and Experienced Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Are you a dedicated and highly skilled Cardiac Electrophysiologist passionate about providing comprehensive care to patients with heart rhythm disorders? We're searching for a qualified physician to join our team in a growing community near Creston, NC. This ongoing locum tenens opportunity offers a variety of scheduling options, starting as soon as possible (ASAP).

Responsibilities :

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to a diverse adult patient population with a variety of heart rhythm conditions, including arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure.
• Conduct thorough patient history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests (ECG, Holter monitor, echocardiogram), and develop effective treatment plans.
• Perform minimally invasive electrophysiology procedures (EP studies, ablations) to diagnose and treat arrhythmias, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Round on inpatients regularly, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Document medical records accurately and efficiently within the Cerner and Athena electronic medical record systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac electrophysiology and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
