Hardware Engineer
A Hardware Engineer job opportunity is open with our client in Andover, MA. In this role you will be part of a dedicated hardware electrical engineering team that collaborates within hardware and across the organization. To be considered for this role you will have 7 years of experience and have a Bachelor or Master of Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience :
- Lab debug and verification of complex embedded digital hardware products
- Production operations and customer support to debug and resolve defects to the circuit and component level
- Production operations and customer support root-cause-corrective-action (RCCA)
- Design of complex embedded digital hardware products
- Design with cutting-edge technology from Intel, Microchip, Xilinx, NVIDIA, TI and beyond
- Analysis including derating, reliability, and FMECA
- Schematic integrity checking analysis with Mentor Valydate or equivalent
- Bill-of-Materials (BOM) Configuration Control Management
- Component Selection and End-of-Life Parts Management
- Interacts with architecture / system engineering, program / product management, CAD & SI, ME, FW / SW, purchasing, and manufacturing operations
- Design modules that include processors, network switches, backplanes, and IO modules
- Designs using high-speed digital design interfaces including Ethernet, PCIe, DDR SDRAM Memory. Other support circuitry to include DC / DC power, clocking, JTAG, SPI, I2C, UARTs
- Develop schematics using Cadence DEHDL (Concept) or equivalent
- Use of HW LAB tools : Oscilloscopes and DVMs for verification and debug
- Lab debug skills for both HW / SW that range from new development to continued sustaining
Education : Bachelor or Master's of Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Work Experience : 7+ Years
