Description : Position Summary :

The Sustainability Analyst’s role is to support and enhance our sustainability initiatives across our agricultural and packing operations. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and implementing sustainable practices across AC Foods’ portfolio.

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand the operational team’s practices and philosophies and work with them to design and implement technologies and process that increase soil and plant health and promote efficient resource use.
• Collaborate with farm manager and packinghouse teams to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations. Effective communication with stakeholders is essential to drive initiatives forward.
• Understand the various agricultural technologies used by the operational teams and how the data from them can be used for sustainability purposes.
• Work cross collaboratively with IT, operational teams, and our ag-tech vendors to ensure that the necessary data is collected.
• Monitor and analyze sustainability data such as (but not limited to) energy, water, and waste usage to identify opportunities for reduction and efficiency.
• Lead projects related to on farm regenerative trials, resource conservation and efficiencies, and waste management.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainable agriculture.
