As a Security Officer Government Unarmed Patrol in Costa Mesa, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Mon07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PM

Fri07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PM

Sat07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PM

Sun07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
