What you’ll do

• Own the avionics system. Define and execute the vision of our next generation aircraft from concept through production
• Build, lead, and mentor a world-class avionics engineering team
• Establish and enforce appropriate design processes
• Maintain technical excellence—implement rigorous design processes and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Ensure system performance meets requirements and design expectations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Shield’s core teams, such as engineering, production, supply chain, business development, and program management
• Engage with external partners – coordinate with vendors and engineering teams as needed

Required qualifications

Salary range : $236,403 - $354,605 per year. Pay within range listed plus bonus, benefits, and equity. Offers contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check. Military fellows and part-time employees are not eligible for benefits.
