Overview
The LHH is seeking a CNC Programmer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located near Lebanon, IN. This is a newly created position and a unique opportunity to join a well-established organization with a rich history and strong reputation in the community. You will work with a variety of equipment and machinery, program multi-axis lathes, and lead process improvement initiatives. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $85,000-95,000 per year plus quarterly bonuses and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.
Relocation packages are available for qualified candidates.

Job Responsibilities
- Program multi-axis CNC machines (up to 4-axis).
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up machines and develop efficient machining strategies.
- Design and assist in the creation of tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support complex setups.
- Model cutting paths using CNC software and optimize machine settings for quality and efficiency.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and customer specifications.
- Modify programs and setups to improve cycle times and reduce waste without compromising quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues and perform basic maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening tools.
- Train operators on proper CNC machine operation and program interpretation.
- Manage project timelines and ensure programming aligns with production schedules.
- Evaluate production costs and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in CAD, Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or a related field is preferredMinimum of 3+ years of CNC programming experience for machining equipment is requiredExperience with multi-axis mills and lathes is requiredMust have experience within a manufacturing industryStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset is requiredMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled
