Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing customer invoices, handling past due accounts, and maintaining strong communication with clients. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and committed to achieving financial goals.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver generated invoices to customers regularly through various channels such as mail, email, and customer portals.
• Contact customers regarding past due invoices and handle incoming calls related to questions or complaints, documenting all interactions.
• Manage all delinquent accounts until they are resolved.
• Communicate effectively with customers and management, maintaining strong relationships to achieve objectives.
• Research invoices against manual files or pre-arranged agreements as necessary.
• Collaborate with account managers, business centers, or higher management when accounts are deemed uncollectible at the department level.
• Perform summary billings for a predefined list of customers using Excel and other reporting tools, and prepare custom invoices as per customer requirements.
• Prepare credit notes and obtain necessary approvals.
• Maintain a delinquency rate of 5% or less and ensure unapplied cash is cleared from customer accounts by the end of the fiscal month.
• Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.
• Continuously improve processes by analyzing them and suggesting enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with both local and remote team members.

This position is hybrid / remote, requiring the candidate to be within driving distance of Watertown, WI. The role requires collaboration with both local and remote teams, offering flexibility in work location.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Watertown, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
