Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, or business administration, or four (4) years of professional or nonprofessional accounting experience. Educational note : verification of the applicable degree is required for U.S. graduates, and credential evaluation for foreign graduates.

Additional requirements include occasional travel and the expectation to work overtime as needed. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for answering questions or participating in interviews is prohibited. Successful applicants must pass a background screening, including fingerprinting.

Job duties include applying accounting techniques, pre-auditing invoice payments, researching accounting standards, auditing and approving purchasing card charges, preparing journal vouchers, and analyzing reports. Knowledge and skills with the Purchasing Card Program "Works" are required.
