About the Indiana State Personnel Department (INSPD) : As an agency operating a shared services model, we provide the executive branch of state government with top-notch Human Resources services. INSPD has a dedicated team of human resources professionals working in many capacities, including director-level, generalists, and specialists in each discipline of human resources. Salary Statement : The salary for this position traditionally starts at $37,648.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life :

The essential functions of this role are as follows :

• Partners with all State agencies utilizing the HR PeopleSoft system by reviewing, auditing, approving or requesting correction for employment actions taken with an employee or contingent worker to include hire / rehire, all leave administrations, promotions, demotions, department / reports to or location changes, transfers, pay adjustments, and personal information changes.
• Utilizes the ASM ticketing system for questions and manual workflow from customers. Ensures that status updates are entered timely and accurately depict situation to enable seamless assistance to customer base.
• Provides assistance as needed or requested related to maintenance of employee records for Long-Term Disability.
• Researches and prepares various reports using Excel, Tableau, and other reporting tools.
• Assist with file maintenance per the personnel file retention guidelines.
• Responds timely to customer inquiries within 48 business hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
