Psychiatrist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)

• The Psychiatrist shall operate and collaborate with physicians' patients
• See 1C/1D Psychiatry Service-Ward patients
• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients when necessary
• Diagnose patients and develop treatment plans
• Tend to patients in outpatient care
• See all new patient referrals with accompanying medical records
• Tend to severely mentally ill patients
• Conduct post-discharge follow-up

Psychiatrist - REQUIREMENTS

• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Psychiatrist in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
• Must have an active DEA
• Must be board-certified/board-eligible in Psychiatry and Neurology.
• A minimum of two (2) years of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years.
• Have and maintain current ACLS/BLS certification.
