Must be able to work in a diverse environment. Description : The position requires caring for patients in a progressive care setting. You will provide total care, primarily administered by RNs. Equipment used includes ventilators, IV pumps, and glucometers. Staff utilize mobile phones and technology. Personal protective equipment is provided for suspected COVID-19 patients. Documentation is completed using a specific electronic system. All nursing shifts are twelve hours, occurring every other weekend. Holidays may require additional shifts. Nursing staff may float to other units as needed, with priority for intensive care. Patient care includes hourly rounding and bedside reporting.
