Position Overview

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level PowerApps Developer to join the Office of Technology and Strategic Services. This role is focused on designing and building end-to-end solutions from the ground up to improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing for the Mississippi Department of Education.

The ideal candidate will be a high-level technical consultant capable of translating client pain points into sophisticated Microsoft 365 solutions while managing the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Power Platform Development : Develop custom applications from scratch using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
• M365 Architecture : Provide expert-level architecture, configuration, and functional support to expand capabilities within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Process Improvement : Identify manual organizational processes that can be optimized through SharePoint Online, Office 365, and Teams integration.
• Client Collaboration : Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot challenges, and provide ongoing solution support.
• Project Management : Estimate work content, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure all deliverables meet planned timelines within an Agile environment.
• System Administration : Perform duties as a SharePoint Site Owner and Site Collection Administrator to ensure robust platform governance.
