Commercial Truck Body Technician
Bentley Truck Services Inc is seeking an experienced truck body technician to join our growing team of exceptional employees. Experience doing box and roof repair / rebuilding and body work on large vehicles preferred.
This position includes the disassembly, fabrication of parts via cutting / measuring / welding, and proper reassembly of all parts on a truck body / box and roof. Candidate should also be willing to work in other areas of the shop when needed. Bentley Truck Services Inc. is a family run business in the process of expanding and looking for some fresh faces to join our team.
Experience working with commercial vehicles a huge plus, i.e., tractor trailers, box trucks, buses, vans, forklifts. This is NOT a car shop.
Must be a team player!
Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with opportunity for more hours.
PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE, and hard work is recognized.

Responsibilities
Fabricate replacement parts using hand and power toolsRepair aluminum and fiberglass trailer and straight truck roofingFollow established organizational safety procedures and DOT regulationsFile, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand toolsBolt or weld replacement parts in position using wrenches or welding equipmentRestore damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearanceUse hand and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts, weld as needed, and properly install new partsDetermine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged partsPerform metal and fiberglass repairs and specializes in fixing external bodywork on fleetPerform repair work on truck bodies replacing front-end components, body components, doors, frame under body components; hammering out dents, buckles, and other defects using blocks and hammers; filing, grinding, and sanding repaired body surfaces; filling holes, dents, and seams; removing damaged fenders, panels, and grills; welding replacement parts in placePerform other related duties as requiredQualifications
