About The Position

Wellhart is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Florida. This comprehensive role offers 160 days of coverage, starting from 07 / 28 / 2025. The primary schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, with two additional 12-hour weekend shifts (7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm) per month. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical procedures, including general, neurological, gastrointestinal, and cardiac cases. Key responsibilities include administering anesthesia, performing spinals and epidurals, and collaborating with the surgical team. This position requires ACLS and PALS certifications, proficiency in Epic electronic health record system, and the ability to handle a diverse caseload in a high-volume setting.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

• Administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures, including general, OB / GYN, neuro, orthopedics, and cardiac cases
• Perform spinal and epidural procedures as required
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Manage pre-operative assessments and post-operative care
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
• Maintain ACLS and PALS certifications
• Adapt to a high-volume environment with an average of 2500 cases per month
• Provide anesthesia services for both adult and pediatric patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
