Part-time General Maintenance Person

PLEASE NOTE : This position is located in Saint John's, AZ - accepting local candidates only in the st John's, Round Valley, and Show Low, AZ area

PERA General Maintenance position, part-time.

As the general maintenance worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks in lawn care, plumbing, basic carpentry, painting, and basic janitorial tasks to ensure our facilities are in good condition.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Your duties will include, but not limited to, the following :

• Conducting routine inspections of the premises and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on both buildings and equipment.
• Basic repairs and maintenance.
• Basic janitorial duties.
• Basic lawn maintenance, i.e., Mowing, trimming, watering, planting, and sprinkler maintenance.
• Help with large caterings & PERA events.
• Need to have or the ability to get a food handlers card from Apache County.
• Help in the Coyote Grill as needed to cover for absences.

Physical Requirements :

This position will be Monday – Thursday, five hours a day.  There is some flexibility with the hours worked, but the five-hour block must be worked between 8 am – 4 pm.

Starting hourly rate will be DOE.

About PERA :

We are an 83 acre Recreational Facility for SRP employees and their guests. PERA has been in business for more than 65 years. In 2019 we built a brand new facility that includes meetings rooms, an employee store, fitness center, a bar, and full service kitchen for catering events.
