Job Overview

Operates small and large equipment such as tractors, large vehicles, forklifts, mowers, etc. while performing duties which serve general track maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury according to all relevant policies and procedures.
• Perform safety and maintenance checks to ensure the safety of the equipment and personnel.
• Maintain inventory of any and all necessary supplies.
• Advise the Track Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
• Clean backside areas in order to maintain suitable appearance and sanitation standards or facility.
• Complete all work assignments on time and with accuracy.
• Be advised of the week-to-week work schedule and any changes made according to business needs.
• Follow the directives of all department SOPs and policies regarding uniforms, communications, and work duties.
• Responsible for carrying out all duties with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Licenses, Certifications, Registration : Requires a Pari-Mutuel License. Requires a valid Florida Driver’s License.
