Job Summary

Responsible for assisting with leading the mechanical installation of parcel conveying systems. Plan and coordinate the efforts of the crew under his / her supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly, and efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Assist Superintendent in leading and directing the mechanical crew
• Fill in for superintendent and follow plan in superintendent's absence
• Capable of leading 5-10 person crew with own work area and / or small projects
• Understands SOW and recognizes and identifies extra's to superintendent
• Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards
• Provide technical support for vendors, field installation personnel, and engineering subcontractors as related to inquiries
• Examine / inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.
• Reads and understand plans and specifications

Qualifications

3 years of supervisory experience preferably within the conveyor systems industry High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of :
