What You'll Do :
Manage QA lab operations, including personnel scheduling, training, equipment calibration, accreditation program compliance, and data integrityOversee product certification and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standardsLead investigations and corrective actions for nonconforming productsMaintain and improve laboratory quality systems and documentationOversee customer complaint log and ensure corrective action plan implementationIdentify, analyze, and improve production and warehousing processes using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis toolsLead cross-functional improvement projects to reduce defects, improve throughput, and enhance product qualityDevelop and implement process control plans and performance metricsCollaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to standardize best practices and eliminate wasteAct as a liaison between QA, Production, and Warehousing to align quality and operational goalsFacilitate communication of customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities across departmentsUse data analytics to monitor trends, identify improvement opportunities, and report on KPIsCoach and mentor QA and production team membersPromote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellenceLead and contribute to other projects as directedSupport new product introductions and process changes with risk assessments and validation protocolsServe as a subject matter expert in SAP Quality Module, SAP Inventory Module, and Instron systems, lead training and system optimization effortsWhat You'll Need :
35 years of experience in quality control or process improvement in a manufacturing environment, plastics processing industry preferredProficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Power BI)Plastics processing industry experience is preferredYour Education :
