The janitorial / maintenance position includes a range of cleaning duties and minor repair tasks. The position requires maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the entire travel center for customers and staff.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness : Perform general cleaning duties throughout the store, including floors, windows, and display cases.
• Sanitize restrooms and showers : Clean and disinfect restrooms and shower facilities.
• Manage laundry : Wash, load, and unload towels for the shower area.
• Perform trash removal : Collect and empty trash from all areas, both inside and outside the travel center.
• Conduct minor maintenance and repairs : Handle basic upkeep and small repair tasks around the facility.
• Provide customer service : Ensure guests have a positive experience by maintaining clean and well-stocked facilities.
• Handle outdoor upkeep : Perform tasks such as clearing debris from the grounds and removing snow and ice from sidewalks as needed.
• Stock supplies : Monitor and restock all necessary supplies in restrooms and other areas.
