We have an immediate need for a Policy Analyst to join our Federal and State Government Relations practice in our Washington, DC office. We are seeking an individual who can work across our various state Government Relations practices with a focus on the Southeastern region, specifically Florida to cover hearings, create reports and track and analyze legislation for clients.
Successful candidates will have outstanding writing skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments, balance competing priorities, excellent research and analytical skills, and will pay close attention to detail. Additionally, candidates should have solid political awareness, leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative manner. The ability to engage clients and government officials in a mature, professional manner is also critical.
The candidate selected for this position may also be asked to take responsibility for other duties that fall outside of the essential job functions, listed below.
Required and Preferred Qualifications :
Compensation and Benefits : Brownstein offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k + match, profit sharing, and vacation / sick / personal time off. In addition this role pays overtime for hours worked above 40 per week. We are offering a salary for this role ranging from $75,000-$85,000, depending on experience.
