Job Description

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will play a key role in promoting a secure environment, supporting others through exceptional customer service, and providing clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor the premises for any security-related concerns and promptly report observations as required.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and / or site staff to help to maintain a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom setting.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and assisting visitors as needed.
  • Document all activities and incidents in accordance with company and site requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
