📍 Location : Gresham, OR

💵 Pay Rate : $25-$30 per hour (DOE)

🕒 Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours / week | Monday-Friday | Flexible hours between 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

🔎 Position Overview :

A well-established local utility company is currently seeking a General Laborer / Driver to support its underground construction and fiber optic installation operations. This is a physically active, hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and contributing to vital infrastructure projects across the region.

As a General Laborer / Driver, you'll play an essential role in supporting utility installation crews with daily job site operations - from digging trenches to collecting job data, and safely driving work trucks to and from job sites. If you have a strong work ethic, a Class B CDL, and a background or interest in construction, we want to hear from you!

🛠 Key Responsibilities :

• Trenching & Installation Support :

Assist with digging 4-foot deep trenches to install fiber optic cable conduit safely and efficiently using shovels and trenching equipment.

Operate company vehicles to transport equipment, crew members, and materials to and from job sites.

Use an iPad to record and submit accurate daily job site data (locations, materials used, crew notes).

After training, help with setting up and maintaining a safe traffic flow around work zones (flagging certification provided).

Ensure that all work sites are maintained in a clean, safe, and organized manner. Assist in loading and unloading materials and tools.
