AB Staffing is looking for an experienced SEE (Signing Exact English) Interpreter – 1 : 1 Educational Support – that is available for the 25 / 26 school year.

$1,200 - $1,275 per week

Job Description :

1 : 1 support in classroom settings, with occasional needs to float between different classrooms or schools based on student placement and needs.

Contract through the school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week

Contract follows the academic district calendar

Essential Functions :

Provide real-time interpreting of spoken English into Signing Exact English (SEE) to support student access to classroom instruction and peer interaction.

Work closely with educators, specialists, and support staff to ensure effective communication and access for the student.

Adapt interpreting strategies to fit various classroom environments and subjects.

Occasionally travel between different school sites depending on student schedule or reassignments.

Requirements :

OSPI certification required (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction – Washington State).

Proficient in Signing Exact English (SEE) .

Experience working in educational settings or with school-age children preferred.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
