Production Control I
Monday-Thursday 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm

The Production Control I coordinates and expedites the flow of information, work, and materials within or among facilities and lines of business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Publish reports per established schedule and prepare data for production meetings.
- Coordinate waving and picking of work based on the daily production schedule.
- Troubleshoot and escalate orders to appropriate teams.
- Compile reports on work progress and production plans or issues as they arise.
- Lead internal and external daily production meetings with customers and leadership teams.
- Fulfill expedited requests for customer escalation issues, including system and part receipts.
- Coordinate operational alignment and execution; escalate technical issues as needed.
- Perform coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules.
- Review product discrepancies and determine disposition.
- Research root causes for discrepancies and follow corresponding procedures.
- Prepare forecasts for capacity planning and new product introductions.
- Contact vendors and shippers to ensure timely forwarding of merchandise, supplies, and equipment.
- Adhere to security policies to maintain data confidentiality.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding order priority, scheduling, and status updates.
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred, with 2+ years of relevant experience.In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 6 years of relevant experience.Thorough understanding of planning principles, theories, and concepts.Ability to understand accounting and manufacturing systems and apply advanced planning tools and techniques.Strong organizational skills to maintain workflow within the unit.Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases.Ability to determine appropriate approaches and provide innovative solutions to moderately complex technical problems.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for internal and external interactions.Proficiency in computer operations and applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment; flexibility to work extended hours as required.Customer service driven.Strong team player.Requirements, Perks, and Benefits (US Non-Exempt)
