Indiana University Health Physicians and the Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible OB / GYN Laborists to join our dedicated women's health teams throughout Indiana. This is a unique opportunity to focus on inpatient obstetric care in a collaborative, academic-based environment committed to clinical excellence, education, and innovation.
Position Highlights :
- Hospital-Based Laborist Model : Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in busy labor and delivery units. Provide obstetric triage, manage laboring patients, and perform deliveries and obstetric surgeries.
- Collaborative Care Environment : Work alongside OB / GYN generalists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and residents in a supportive and team-based setting.
- Shift-Based Scheduling : Enjoy predictable shift work designed to support a healthy work-life balance.
- Academic Role : Faculty appointment through the IU School of Medicine with opportunities to teach medical students and OB / GYN residents during clinical shifts.
- Focus on Safety & Quality : Participate in initiatives aimed at improving obstetric safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based labor management.
- Dual Employment : Full-time positions with IU Health Physicians and the Indiana University School of Medicine.
