Subarc Welder

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Subarc Welder for a company based in Saginaw, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for operating a Subarc Welding machine to repair, fabricate, fit, and join metal and other weldable materials.

Pay Rate

$23.00 per hour or DOE

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 5 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm.

Subarc Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Fuse metal segments using submerged arc welding.
• Certify in ceramic tape welding, MIG process, aluminum, stainless steel, 7018 and 6010 stick welding.
• Manage aluminum structural / pipe fabrication turnaround : cross-country CGIT / IPB megawatt electrical power conductors.
• Perform preventative maintenance, electronic robotic, pneumatic systems, and initial quality control operations.
• Set up the arc welding machine, including adjusting the machine.
