Pastry Baker

Mighty Bread Company is a James Beard nominated wholesale and retail bakery in East Passyunk. We are hiring a baker to add to our growing pastry team. Commercial bakery or restaurant baking experience required. We are a high volume production bakery. Experience with laminated dough a plus. Must be a hard worker, organized, precise, have a passion for food and learning, and a positive attitude. Plenty of room for advancement.

Tasks will include : Mixing dough

Morning bake

Lamination

Scaling - measuring out ingredients for the days production

Holiday Production including cookies, pies, and other seasonal items

Other Bakery Production - pastry, cookies, brownies, granola, etc

Packing - help with slicing, bagging, and packaging product for delivery to costumers

Cleaning- dishes, floors, general bakery

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Previous commercial kitchen experience required

Full time position, shifts start between 4am and 6am depending on the day.

Weekend and holiday availability required
