Summary :

SKF Aerospace is a first-tier supplier to the global aviation industry and much more. We design & manufacture complex, high performance, high-value bearings in steel and advanced ceramics. Our production group, technologies, & products are at the heart of aerospace industry and the world's leading aircraft jet engine & gearbox manufacturers at our Falconer, NY location. Salary is negotiable and based upon experience and education.

Key Responsibilities :

Utilize knowledge of SKF Aeroengine North America design standards and manufacturing processes to create 3D models (using NX).

Generate inspection and manufacturing drawing packages for new bearing designs

Processing drawing change notices

Assist to resolve manufacturing issues related to drawings

Generate NC code for manufacturing using the 3D model

Generate CMM inspection programs using the 3D model

Back-up system administration and assist in addressing NX and Teamcenter express system issues.

Minimum Education / Experience :

Associate Degree in Engineering or technical manufacturing design / technical drafting field, or a minimum of 5 years related work experience in the areas of design and / or manufacturing.

In-depth working knowledge of 3D parametric modeling and AutoCAD systems is required.

Experience in NX and industrial product drafting is a plus.

Strong PC skills are preferred.
