Staff Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to architect and maintain core transaction-processing services for secure crypto transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices for the transaction authorization platform

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize projects

Mentor engineers and drive large-scale technical projects from inception to deployment

Required Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a senior or staff-level backend role

3+ years of experience with Node.js and building production-grade applications

Strong experience with distributed messaging systems and event-driven microservices development

Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and architecting high-throughput transactional databases

Hands-on experience with AWS and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
