Part-Time Home Health Aide

The VNA Health Group is seeking a Weekends only, part-time Home Health Aide (Hospice) to join our dedicated Hospice Team in Bergen County.

Responsibilities

Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers

Provides personal care services as established in the plan of care

Assists patients with mobilization and rehabilitation

Communicates with patients and their families on a regular basis

Submits required documentation as per agency policy and procedures

Ensures compliance of agency infection control and safety policies

Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Qualifications

Home Health Aide certification required

High School Diploma / GED preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Car and a valid driver’s license

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions / Physical Demand : Working indoors with client / customer contact; use of specific equipment as braces, bedpan, crutches, electrical bed, hoyer lift, personal automobile, walker, wheelchair, household appliances, vacuum cleaner etc.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $30,000 to USD $60,000. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education / training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
