Practice Outpatient Community Psychiatry, Saratoga Hospital - Award-Winning Saratoga Springs, New York

Saratoga Hospital Medical Group - Behavioral Health  seeks a BE / BC  Psychiatrist  to join our Behavioral Health team at  Saratoga Community Health Center (SCHC)  in an outpatient role. SCHC is a fully integrated center providing primary care, behavioral health, addiction medicine and dentistry. Work with a collegial multidisciplinary team, including a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Family Medicine physicians, including one addiction medicine specialist, advanced practice providers, dentists and support staff. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with community-based organizations that provide or support mental health care. The office is located in a bright, renovated facility across from famous Congress Park in walkable downtown Saratoga Springs.

Psychiatrists in the practice provide coverage of the Saratoga Hospital inpatient mental health unit.  All physicians take inpatient call for a 16-bed inpatient adult mental health unit. Call is paid and approximately 1 : 10 (with a growing pool), taken evenings by phone with rounding on weekends.

The Saratoga Hospital Medical Group - Behavioral Health team includes our Community Health Center providers; Psychiatrist and PMHNPs (APPs) in two additional primary care settings; Saratoga County Mental Health Psychiatrists and APPs who are employed by Saratoga Hospital, and our inpatient and consultation liaison Psychiatrists and APPs. Providers work closely across the system with physicians and APPs in our primary care and specialty network.
