In this role, you will :

• Conceptualize, design (2D and 3D), and lead the development and release of vehicle chassis components and assemblies (Subframe, knuckle, Control Arm, Bushings, Driveline, Wheels / Tires) to meet cost, weight, and performance requirements
• Develop short and long-term schedules / plans for component development
• Define and negotiate requirements and specifications for the vehicle structure, including DFMEAs, DVP’s and PVP’s, APQP
• Support validation testing for component / vehicle
• Support material and manufacturing process decisions, both internally and externally
• Work cross-functionally and collaborate with peers, CAE / test teams, management, manufacturing, suppliers

Base Salary

Compensation

There are three major components to compensation for this position : salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
