Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Colorado requiring an active CO or compact RN license and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, and 6 triage rooms
  • Unit includes 3 Labor & Delivery ORs and handles both vaginal and c-section deliveries
  • Patient ratios are typically 2 : 1, with 1 : 1 care for complicated cases
  • Uses fetal heart rate monitors (Novii and GE) and fetal scalp electrodes
  • EMR systems used are CPN and Meditech
  • Day shifts are from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • Responsible for nursing care of labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, CNAs, CSTs, and sitters
  • Mom / Baby, Pediatrics, and NICU experience is preferred
  • A flexible, friendly, and dependable personality is valued
  • No Canadian SSNs accepted
  • References and copies of certifications must be submitted for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • ACLS or ALS certification preferred
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past year
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
