JOB TITLE : Cable Inspector - 2nd Shift

LOCATION : Clearwater, FL

PAY RATE : $26-30 / hour

Job Details :

Job Type : Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift : 2nd (3 : 30 PM 2 : 00 AM, Mon Thurs, OT Weekends)

Summary :

Inspect cables using established methods, operations, and specifications

Use measuring devices such as dial indicators, micrometers, and scales

Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and inspection instructions

Monitor quality using statistical process or other control procedures

Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management

Perform assembly tasks related to inspection areas as needed

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED

Experience in cable manufacturing and inspection

Knowledge of soldered and crimp inspection using IPC-A-620 standards

Detail-oriented; able to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Team-oriented; able to collaborate with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management

Proficient with personal computers and modern applications

Must be able to read and write English

Must pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
