Tennessee Certified Coder

A company is looking for a Certified Coder.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of primary health care by ensuring accurate coding of charges consistent with documentation

Review and abstract patient medical records to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes

Provide education to providers on audit results while maintaining professionalism

Required Qualifications

Must reside in the Middle TN, Columbia, or Knoxville area

Minimum of 1 year of experience in professional coding

CPC or CCS-P certification required

Good working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
