Event Setup Technician (Temporary)
On behalf of our event management client, Procom is searching for multipleEvent Setup Technicians for a temporary role. This position is onsite at our client's Scottsdale, AZ office.

Event Setup Technician: Job Description:
This project involves supporting the Golf Tournament by providing technical and customer support. The role focuses on ensuring seamless operations during the event, assisting with equipment setup, and troubleshooting hardware issues.

Event Setup Technician: Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and connectivity issues, including scanners, network/wifi, and software (e.g., power cycling, reboots).
• Ensure all equipment is operational and ready for use at event sites.
• Communicate effectively with team members and gate personnel to address technical needs promptly.
• Use SLACK on a modern smartphone to stay connected with the team and relay updates.
• Serve as a liaison between technical support and event staff, ensuring seamless communication.
• Provide friendly, clear, and proactive support to gate scanners and other personnel.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining equipment at various event locations.

Event Setup Technician: Mandatory Skills:
• Recent graduate or individual with a strong interest in technology and event operations.
• 1+ year of experience working with hardware troubleshooting and basic connectivity solutions (Network/Wifi, software reboot, etc).
• Excellent communication skills with 100% comprehension.
• Own a modern smartphone capable of running SLACK.
• Positive, go-getter attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Previous experience working at festivals or large-scale events.
• Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and in large crowds.
