Warehouse Coordinator

Responsibilities : As a Warehouse Coordinator, you are responsible for moving material within the distribution center and from the loading platform, whether loading, pushing, rolling, or operating forklifts, cranes, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment. Additionally, you will perform the following tasks : Receive incoming inventory and supplies, record them in the company's warehouse system, and store the inventory in the appropriate location. Read work orders, shipping orders, or follow verbal instructions. Fill out invoices for customers. Verify part numbers, clean, and pack inventory items. Inspect the inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage. Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems. Follow all company safety policies and procedures while on company premises or driving company vehicles or equipment. Track all inventory in the appropriate system. Organize and clean the warehouse space and company equipment as needed. Report any customer issues or concerns immediately. Train fellow associates in warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when necessary. Apply policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations. Evaluate current processes and procedures and recommend changes to the warehouse management. Contribute ideas on ways to reduce warehouse cost per unit and increase productivity. Maintain a practical knowledge of the warehouse data system and perform various tasks within the system. When necessary, deliver supplies and equipment in a timely manner, observing all regulations governed by DOT and OSHA. Other assigned tasks.
Qualifications : You have a history of completing work with a high level of quality. You have a knack for solving difficult problems and enjoy a practical approach to your work. You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. You are frequently required to walk or stand for long hours and must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Experience operating forklifts (forklift certification is an advantage). Capable of operating personal computers and software programs, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. You have at least 1 year of warehouse experience.
