Travel Nurse RN - DOU - Direct Observation Unit - $2,203 per week at Salem Hospital summary :

A Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Direct Observation Unit, responsible for monitoring adult patients and managing telemetry skills. The role requires expertise in MED / SURG telemetry, an active MA RN license, and the ability to read tele strips, with a rotating schedule of 36 hours per week. The nurse will provide care for a patient population of approximately 10-16 adults in a 16-bed observation unit, requiring certifications such as ACLS and familiarity with Epic EMR systems.

  • M / S Tele RN Days / Eves / Nights Rotate & EOW – 36hrs
  • MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS

  • Skill Sets Required : MED / SURG Telemetry, Epic
  • Clinician to Patient Ratio : 4 : 1 or 5 : 1 depend on unit needs
  • Patient Population : Adult
  • Bed Count : 16
  • Census : 10-16
  • EMR (Charting System) : Epic Asap and Clin doc
  • Floating Required : Yes
  • Rotating Shifts Required : Yes
  • Certifications Required : ACLS. Active MA RN License
