District Sales Manager

Waste Connections is currently looking for a dynamic District Sales Manager to join the team! This position is responsible for supporting the Outside Sales representatives in the New Orleans area. This is done through hands-on involvement with the Sales team and the continuous development, execution, and refinement of the District - organic growth, retention, and price increase plans.

Principal Duties

When needed, a resource to support the Sales team with :

Developing, implementing, and refining an effective local Sales Strategy.

Execution and training for effective Prince Increase efforts.

Primary individual responsible for support and training on Sales CRM systems (ARES).

Verify and approve commissions on a monthly basis.

Hands-on development for Sales Team for career advancement.

Minimum Requirements

College degree in business, marketing, or a related field strongly preferred.

Previous experience working in sales, preferably in waste, transportation, or service related fields.

At least 5 years supervisor or management level experience necessary.

Proficiency in sales & marketing principles and techniques.

Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex problems and present cost-effective solutions.

Track record of leadership and team-building skills.

High level of proficiency in the use of computer related programs with emphasis on CRM.

Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and tools.
