Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
In this vital role, you'll support elementary students in special education, focusing on those with autism spectrum disorders. The position is a full-time, onsite opportunity at an elementary school in the greater Fort Wayne area, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year, with possibilities for renewal during extended or new school year terms. Hours run Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
You'll work with a diverse caseload of K-6th grade students, providing instruction and support tailored to each learner’s unique needs. The majority of your students will have Applied Skills needs and a diagnosis of ASD, creating an environment where your expertise as a Special Education Teacher and Autism Specialist will have a profound impact.
