Overview

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for media relations candidates with excellent writing and editing skills to join a media relations and communications team at a top DC law firm. This is a great opportunity to work with a forward focused and driven team dedicated to a collaborative process.

Responsibilities

  • Write content for various communication formats including press releases, pre-brief materials, and media pitches
  • Develop media strategies for different platforms to promote firm practice groups and partners
  • Coordinate closely with business development team
  • Develop and maintain partner relationships with industry relevant press contacts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 6+ years of media / communications experience, legal strongly preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to pivot and manage urgent needs

    • Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
