As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent educational location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $19.59 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 06 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

Sat 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns within the location, including academic buildings, student facilities, and outdoor areas.
  • Communicate clearly with the Allied Universal team and site management regarding incidents or concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Assist with crowd management and provide directions or assistance to students, staff, and visitors as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
