We are representing a globally recognized Fortune 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a senior level Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will report to the VP / General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP with a strong dotted line to VP Human Resources.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the VP / General Manager and have a strong dotted line relationship with VP HR.
- Candidate will have complete ownership over the Human Resources function of a 500+ employee unionized campus.
- Position entails providing practical, consistent, and pro-active support, direction and advice to plant management, supervisors and employees on complex Human Resource, Employee Relations, and regulatory issues.
- This position directs local activities in support of company initiatives to include employee engagement, succession planning; training; employee development; production system management; and other company initiatives.
- Candidate will work closely with Senior leadership to define departmental budgets, operational KPI's & deliverables, in addition to overall plant strategy

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration. Advanced degree and / or certifications are considered a plusCandidate should have at least 5 years of Plant level HR Leadership experience within union environmentManufacturing experience preferredStrong generalist background
